My mind

My mind down dusty corridors, i wander everywhere lie the discarded thoughts of a disorganized and undisciplined mind reminiscent of a once busy museum now deserted and seemingly long forgotten Then turning a corner,i find myself suddenly in the midst of a hive of activity. A new Curator has come with fresh ideas and input reawakened and invigorated i feel a new sense of purpose and interest dedicated to My friend Helena

Titan

Shrouded in red clouds 

surfaced in a slushy mix

ammonia,methane and water ices

Spewed out by ice crusted volcano`s

an astro-physicist`s dream

Birth/near death experience

Is a journey from one world into a new one

from a dark warm self contained place

into a bright new world.

During the painful. journey down the birth canal

do our eyes see the bright light

perhaps even glimpse an illuminated figure.

Many people have claimed to have

near death experiences that to my mind

sound remarkably similar.

Is it  not more likely that we are 

reliving a past experience.

One that we all share..

The Takeover

They had worked towards this point  for eons and now finally it was coming to fruition.

Almost a millennium ago, they had almost been wiped out by  their cousins,all but a few scattered groups had survived.Throughout the centuries since,they had slowly infiltrated and worked their way into positions of power.

They  had a gift  for invention that enabled them to invent technology that benefited society,unknown to the others some of their greatest and most famous people were actually not their people at all.

With the rise of the computer age and the internet,they finally had the very means to regain their former position as rightful heirs to the planet.

Troy looked over at Danica,as she sat at the computer,all the connections were up and everyone was waiting for him to start the  process.

He said 'begin the takeover." Danica`s fingers rapidly typed in the code words and  then pressed one last button.

Pete Morgan was just setting up his video conference with a friend in Rio,when his screen flickered and then in black letters said ` We,the Neanderthals have taken control!`

Timeleap

Denny looked at the Cryogenics tech Dr, as she administered the last shot.
His last thoughts as he slipped out of the 20th century,were that he had finally given that pain in the ass,Doris the slip.
He blinked as the bright light shone into  his eyes, someone said  "Wake up!"
Denny looked around and found himself in a lab full of unfamiliar equipment,he was even more surprised to find himself being watched over by a chimpanzee!
Just then a blonde girl in a lab coat entered ;OK Tiny,i will take over now.
She said" it`s all set up for you,a new house and everything as per your contract"
Denny said "thank you" she helped him sit up ,then handed him a set of clothes.
Denny asked her "what century is this and she replied :the year is 2450.The house was everything, Denny had dreamed of,made from some material that was completely seamless.The 3D holographic image of a pretty Asian girl gave  him a tour and explained how to adjust the setting of the interior decor to suit his taste. then said " Oh there is one last thing i have to show you and  on a  screen set into the wall ,an image appeared, Denny swore to himself as Doris said "hello you old bugger" '
".Did you really think escaping me was that easy?"
